To Apply For A Grant
The Applicant must
be a registered non-profit organization serving people in need
in Avery or Watauga Counties. Applicants must be willing to appear
before the Mission & Outreach Commission grant review panel if
requested.
The deadline for
applications for the 2010 Fair is June 11, 2010.
Recipients are selected during the summer and awards are disbursed
after the Fair in November.

application must include:
- Name, street
address, mailing address if different, phone number of
organization
- Nonprofit
organization ID number
- Organization's
Mission Statement
- Organization's
sources of income
- Amount requested
- How funds
will be used if approved
- Names and
phone numbers of organization's director and treasurer
Please respond
to all items and limit to a maximum of 4 pages.
